As the NBA all star countdown begins, Nike is starting to reveal some of tho shoes that will symbolize that game. They have shown the three main dominate shoe collections for this edition which include KD, Kobe and Lebron. These three collections have been consistent with making special edition shoes for different events and holidays throughout the years. As said before, the all star game is approaching and Nike has created designs for all shoes. These designs mostly follow the same color scheme unlike last year. The Lebron shoe starts off with a purplish base with foamposite tiles are colored in with white. What's cool about the foamposite pieces is that they are laser etched glow in the dark which adds a little more style to the shoe. The tongue is really neat on the Lebron shoe of the all star edition. It consists of a mint green and a purple that are textured in as a reptile design. The laces on this shoe are also speckled with mint green and purple, but the green is the color more concentrated on in this piece of the shoe. There is a mint green lace lock on the laces of the lion that represents Lebron. What I think is the coolest part of the shoe is the out sole. Like the rest of the shoe, it follows the green and purple color scheme but has a marbleized texture which looks really cool and brings out the shoe. The Nike symbol is painted white and the Lebron symbol is painted white with a gold crown. I don't mind these shoes. Purple is not my favorite color, but since the colors that surround it help blend, its not too bad. Also, as i mentioned I like the out sole of this shoe. These shoes will be released on Valentines day at a price of $220.
