Kobe 9 EM Easter (Z)

With Easter right around the corner, Nike gets ready for their traditional Easter theme colorway. Kobe, Lebron and KD shoes traditionally have a colorway for the holiday of Easter. They have usually been a success in the past and been very popular as they almost always sell out. With last years addition, Lebron was the only series out of the three big names to create an elite version dedicated to the holiday. This year, Kobe has made the holiday colorway only in the low version and Lebron has also only made the colorway in a low version. With this years addition, Kobe 9 lows have a neon green that covers a strip of the back and goes into the inner sole of the shoe and down the entire tongue. The regular base of this shoe has a lucid green with black mixed into it. The neat thing about the base of this shoe is its pattern which is a wavy, coral pattern which blend the two colors very well. The Kobe symbol on the tongue and the stitches patter on the heel match with a metallic silver. To top it off, two shades of blue line the sole of the shoe to help coordinate and bring all of the colors to proportion. In my opinion, I do like these shoes more than the original version of the Kobe 9 low. I like the pattern that they picked and the colors that went into the pattern fit very well. It caught my eye right away and keep creating new ideas in every colorway. I also like that they changed it up this year and created the traditionally Easter colorway in the low version instead of the original Kobe version created this year The will be dropped two days before Easter which will be April 18th at a price of $160.

Jordan CP3 Clippers (Y)

Jordan and Nike have created many shoes that are based off big name athletes such as Lebron James, Kevin Durant and Kobe Bryant. With that said, Chris Paul has created a shoe line and has really emerged with his collection. On his seventh shoe in the series, Jordan has brought the new technology to this sneaker to help keep up with its opponents. In the past, Jordan and the designers have kept similar designs throughout the series to keep it original. With the seventh addition coming, they have added new features but also keeping the CP3 look to it. With this shoe, it starts off with a navy blue towards the back of the shoe as it eventually fades into a bleach white at the tip of the shoe. The middle of the shoe where the fade is happening varies from a dark blue to a sky blue. The laces are colored in white to match the CP logo on the tongue which is also white. Black covers most of the back portion as it design carries throughout the middle sides of the shoe. Fly wire technology are strings attached from the laces to the bottom of the shoe and help with strength and durability. On top of that, it helps for better movement and comfort. To top it off, red covers the sole of the shoe to finally make up the Clippers colors, red, white and blue. In my opinion, I like these shoes based on their colors. They blend and mix very well and coordinate well. I would probably only where them for playing basketball in them because I feel they would fit my needs to play in. I would not wear theses for casual walking because they don't look like a sneaker that is specifically made for basketball  They will be in stores on April 9th at a price of $125.

Kobe 9 Low Bruce Lee (Y)

The Kobe series have became more and more popular in the recent past. They have really expanded their shoes and their creativity has reached a new level in which no one else has seen. The Kobe series are known for their low cut narrow design that is powered for speed and quickness. Also, both versions in which they create, the basic version and the elite version differ in creativity more than usual which helps distinguish between the versions. Usually Nike will create the basic version first then wait a couple months to perfect the elite version to really show not only their originality but their vision on future creativity. Also, with creating the elite version first, some may say that the basic would be disappointing due to the less fancy style and look. With that said, the basic version of the Kobe 9 is a low cut style with a all yellow base. Red and black accent throughout the shoe. Black can be seen in the Nike logo, the laces and the sole of the sneaker. Red is found on the lace locks, the Kobe symbol on the front of the tongue and the Achilles scar on the heel of the shoe to indicate Kobe's injury like on the other version. They are vents on the side of the shoe to help for better cooling and comfort for the foot. To top the shoe off, Kobe's signature is placed towards the back of the shoe as seen before in his other numbered shoes. In my opinion, I do not like these shoes very much. I think there to plain for my liking. I feel like they don't have enough texture or coloring in them. But if you like them, they will be in stores on March 29th at a price of $160.
