Kobe 8 SS (K)

As written about in my recent blogs, KD and LeBron kept the yearly trend going with their Christmas addition of their new shoes. Kobe as well, is keeping this trend going, but added something that no other shoe has. Before we get to that, the Kobe shoe collection technically has two shoes that have that Christmas theme. When Kobe brought out the eighth shoe in the series, they made a Christmas addition a few weeks after the holiday actually happened. Despite the few weeks, they first Christmas addition was made in 2013, the same year that the new Christmas addition was made. The first Christmas addition had a scale like texture going throughout the whole shoe, with colors varying from red to green to blue. To represent the Christmas theme, they colored in the laces and the logo in red and made the sole of the shoe green. The new addition, recently made, has a new texture that hasn't been seen on any shoe yet. The base of this shoe is silver, but like the first Christmas addition, it has a scale like texture, but this texture are 3D. The scales actually pop off the shoe and can touched like the scales on an animal. This back end of the shoe has the Kobe 8 elite look to it, which contains a black back with the kobe logo in gold. They made the logos and outer sole of the shoe green and also added speckled silver on top of a solid black on the trim of the shoe. Now, SS stands for snake skin, but is also called the Kobe 8 Christmas. I like these shoes just because nothing has came out like this before and no one has came even close to this before. Honestly though, I probably would not buy them though because they are too much for me and would not fit my style. But if you do like these and would like to buy them, they will on sale the day after Christmas and a retail price of $160 at select stores.
