KD continues the yearly Christmas addition of their shoe. The 6th addition of the Kevin Durant shoe has come out with a Christmas look to go with the holiday. This shoe, very much different from the previous number in the series, KD 5, goes with a more simple look this time around. Last year, this line of shoe started off with a blue base with different colors zigzagged in throughout the whole shoe. Also, it went with yellow logos and red laces. I think that it wasn't very festive like, unlike the other line of shoes that went with the traditional Christmas colors, green and red. This year, they went more with the Christmas look, making it very holiday like and very noticeable that it represent this certain holiday. They started off with a full red base, including red laces. The logos on this shoe, the Nike and KD symbol, are colored in as a soft mint green as the outer edge of the shoe has a more vibrant green, making the shoe very noticeable and obvious. A feature that the Christmas edition offers is a lace lock. A KD lace lock is colored in as mint green that only this edition of the KD 6 has to offer. A cool feature that this shoe bring is on the bottom of the shoe, Christmas lights dangle from the Durant symbol bringing out the holiday. Despite its on the bottom of the shoe, its still a neat feature. Another feature that makes this shoe even better is a Christmas like sweater design on the inner part of the shoe. It includes snowflakes falling and even includes Durant's basketball number, 35. In my opinion, I like this shoe because it is based on Christmas, and brings out the holiday. Also, because they keep the yearly trend going and keep making holiday additions of their shoes. Although, this is the holiday addition, this shoe will not be available in stores until the day after at a retail price of $130, shoes are limited.
