Jordan 6 Infared (Q)

Jordan has recently been bringing back some of the retro shoes such as Jordan 3,4,5,10,11 and 12 in the series. These shoes have been known to be the best in the collection and have also been known to be rare and hard to get your hands on them. The Jordan shoes have been very popular worldwide over the years and many people collect them obviously as collectables and have shown great appreciation to them. Also, many if not all the numbers in the Jordan series are very hard to collect and many people are out looking for a pair to complete their collection. The Jordan 6 infared utilized the red infared tone and color this time around. The shoe starts out with a clean white color, not to mention that the texture of this white color is a patent leather. Also on this shoe is the infared color that accents different parts on the shoe. The upper part of the tongue is black and to match that is the insole of the shoe also being black. To complete this shoe, the sole is a translucent blue tinted color which blends very well with this colorway. Last time around, the base color was black which didn't bring out the infared color which didn't live up to the name of the shoe very well. I like the "newer" addition of this shoe, the white is very clean, but also it can get very dirty which would be the only problem why i would not wear these very often. Also, like I said before, the white accents the red very well and really brings it out. Most likely there will be only a limited amount of shoes released because of how hard this shoe is to get and own. This shoe will be in stores the day after valentines day, February 15, at a retail price of $170.

KD 6 BMH (P)

Nike has continued the black history month shoe as they recently showed pictures of the 2014 addition. This shoe surprised fans as they did not know if they were continuing this yearly tradition. As some may know, they have continued it and have improved in some eyes as they changed up the whole color way. Last years addition featured just two colors, black, grey and orange. Although they have only a few colors, they really blended and flowed very well together. These two colors are in a zigzag pattern throughout the whole shoe. These colors flowed good together because the black is a traditional color as the orange is a bright color which makes this shoe very neat. Colors featured in the new addition are purple and gold. Although Im not a fan of purple, these shoes are not that bad. The base of the shoe is purple as the inner half of the shoe is a different shade of purple. On the base of the shoe, it has a couple different patters that are repeated throughout the shoe mostly making up the look of the shoe. The logos on this shoe which include the Nike swoosh and the KD logo are gold. Although its only on a couple parts of the shoe, it makes the shoe pop a little more. White is speckled onto the laces of the shoe, which is a little feature that makes it better as some may say. In my opinion, I like these shoes a little bit for a couple reasons. One reason is that, as i mentioned before, purple is not my color and it is not my type. Also, because based on last years colorway, I like that one better and this years disappointed me a little bit. These shoes will release the first day of February at a retail price of $130.

KD 6 DC (P)

Nike has brought even more colorways to the KD 6 collection. Despite the concentration on recent colorways, such as the Christmas colorway and the BHM colorway which have big hits in the recent years. This colorway has a meaning behind it though. It is called DC because of its American theme but also because Washington DC is Kevin Durant's hometown.I feel like these shoes are one of a kind based on that they represent Durant and hometown and I feel like the shoe has a deeper meaning than others. Since its based on America, it has a red base with the inner side of the shoe blue, making the shoe half blue, half red. Also featured on this shoe are blue laces, with red and blue speckled in. The Nike swoosh on the front of the shoe is blue as the back swoosh is red because it has a blue background. Also, featured on the KD symbol which is blue, are white stars which represent the stars on the flag. In my opinion, I like these shoes a lot. One of the reasons I like these shoes is because how they have a deep meaning to them. Not only representing his home town, but all of America. Also, I like how they matched the colors up with the shoe and how they placed them. Also I like how they incorporated the stars into the logo, I think that adds more of a meaning to them and ties the whole American flag theme together. Nike has also made a Lebron colorway in the Lebron low shoe style. They had a blue base and incorporated the red and white to also tie in the American theme. These shoes will go on sale February 6, and will sell at retail price for $130.

Kobe 8 Prelude Reflection (O)

Kobe 8 has had an amazing year with all of their new color ways. 2013 has definitely been a success for them and their shoes. Kobe's last big hit for them was their Christmas addition which was a very big uproar for them. Now, Nike has done a very neat and exciting improvement to all of Kobe's series. They took all of the shoes in the series,8, and made them into something different. They kept the same body and structure of the shoe, but made it into something wild that no one would expect. I thought this was very cool because the shoes that they remade are going to become a collectable in the future. Also, if someone wanted one of the first Kobe's that came out, they had the chance to try and get them again. Not only the Kobe 8 addition, but all numbers in the series had a very unique style of its own. The Kobe 8 prelude caught my eye when I first seen them. They have a swirl pattern with basically every color in the rainbow. Colors can range from black and purple to yellow and red. Colors that stick out from the shoe are a greenish, yellowish color that make up the swoosh and the inner sole of the shoe. Other colors stick out are the silver on the back of the shoe that consist of the Kobe symbol and the carbon fiber like structure. Also, a blueish color is speckled on the outer edge of the shoe. In my opinion, I like this shoe based on the out of the box thinking and the creativity. Also, I just like the whole idea in general as I described in the beginning. These shoes will be on sale January 25 at $200, since they are a prelude and are more of a rare shoe.
