Foamposite Red Thermal

Nike came out with a new design this year with the Nike Foamposites. Nike did some experiments and tried different designs before coming out with the final product. This shoe is part of the weatherman pack, which includes the weatherman foamposites that have been recently dropped. This isn't similar to the normal shoe design, the shape is different than most of the popular brands and have a different design in general. It has a more wide base and even a wide feel throughout the whole shoe. It has a plastic like texture that wraps around the whole shoe. This may look cool, but it will also add weight to the shoe which is not good on a basketball players part. To go along with the design is a white base that has a spot of a red camouflage like structure. The laces and the bottom trim of the shoe matches the spots that go around the shoe. They stand out from most other shoes because of the different approach Nike took on these shoes. In my opinion, i do not like these shoes for a couple of reasons. One reason is even though its different then most others, i dont like the way the layout of the shoe is. I think that they are to bulky and add extra weight to the shoe. Also, being a basketball player, i want a light shoe to be able to move around quicker. As being a shoe collector, i would buy these for that reason only, i would not recommend these for basketball. If you like this new design, would will be able to pick these up as soon as September 28th at a retail price of $250.

Air Jordan 10 "Steel"

Michael Jordan is known for being one of the best NBA players to ever live. He has had a clothes and shoe line for years now. His older shoes or retros are making their way back to the stores. The classic Jordan 10's have made their return on the calender. The base color of the shoe is a white that's made out of a tumbled leather while the trim of the shoe is black with a pattern of steel grey. The tongue of 10's match the pattern of the bottom of the shoe, having an every other black and grey pattern.The pattern on the tongue really brings out this shoe from its white plain base. Also on the tongue, there are nylon straps under the laces that will help with durability and a tighter fit.The back of the shoe has the worldwide known black jump man logo. Although you cant see the bottom of the shoe, it shows some of the best accomplishments that Michael Jordan has done over his time in the NBA. There is an achievement listed on every other stripe on the pattern. It also has a red jump man symbol on the bottom of the shoe as well. In my opinion, these are one of the best Jordan's that have came out so far behind the Jordan 11's. Although they are not anything fancy, they caught my eye and are known for the out sole on the shoe of Jordan's accomplishments. I would name these Jordan's a collectable based on how many people know Michael and how he has changed the NBA and how he has left his legacy. Jordan was the best player to ever walk the court in my opinion which makes this shoe even better to cop. You will be able to pick these shoes up the day the come out on October 12th, at a reasonable price of $160.

LeBron 11 Kings Pride

The LeBron 11's have made there way to the calender. No more sneak peaks or previews, they have showed the final detailed sneaker. The LeBron 11's are similar to the LeBron 10's in a way that they have similar shape. They both have the same structure, yet have new and out of the ordinary design around the whole shoe. Even though going with a different design, these are the lightest LeBrons to ever come out of his series. To help make the shoe so light is the fly wire technology which was recently introduced on a couple of different shoes earlier in the year. Some traditional features on the new LeBrons are his initials on the side swoosh "LJ". Another feature is the roman numeral in the lining for the number shoe it is in the series, "XI". The first colorway that the LeBron XI's are coming out with is a unique yet original color for LeBron James. Some of you may not know the symbol for James, the lion, but he is known for this symbol and it is displayed on all of his shoes. The parachute gold as they call it represents the symbol given to James, the lion, is a bright yellow or a shade of gold. The actually base of the shoe is black,with patches of gold that has a 3d dimension like structure. They really came up with a different view for the 11th pair in LeBron's series, having a whole new design besides the originally high top. Saying that, the high top will help with support for basketball players and being the lightest shoe yet in the collection, will be a hit when they first hit the stores. Kobe 8 Pit Viper, Best Kobes Yet?

The Kobe 8 Pit Viper have finally made the release calender. Some of you may know Kobe for his nickname "Black Mamba" which this shoe is based off of. Since a snake is a reptile, and a snake has scales, this shoes base is a scale like pattern. The Pit Vipers are the first Kobes that evolved the snake like pattern and bring it to photo realism. The colors in the scale pattern are mixed shades of purple with some black thrown in there. The tongue is a plain original purple with a white Kobe emblem on the top of the tongue. The pattern makes this shoe come to life and makes it stand out from other regular dull shoes. Also another affect making this shoe even better are the Nike swoosh on the side of the shoe and the Kobe emblem on the back of the shoe.The green glow color on these emblems represents part of the Black Mamba snake. It goes great with the scale texture and the mixed purple blend really well. They are the traditional low cut system for better agility and ability to move around faster. Though they are the low cut, they are stiffer on the ankle area for better support despite being low. Some people might say these are the best Kobes to hit the calender yet. They are the first Kobes that match the nick name of Kobe Bryant, "Black Mamba". They are different from the other Kobes that  dropped this year but not a dramatic change. Other colorways that came out that are similar to the Pit Vipers are the Milk snakes, blue coral and the Graffiti. Some may think that these are the best to drop, some may not, what do you think?
